Welcome To Cello Club With Sarabande! 🎻
Whether you’re looking to gain experience or wanting to share the joy of music with others, the Sarabande Cello Club is the perfect place for adult cellists of all levels to come together, learn, and share their passion for music. Led by professional cellist Sara Lane Rees, workshops are designed to nurture your playing in a warm, friendly environment.

Sara brings a wholesome approach to cello teaching, encompassing the mental and physical wellbeing aspects of being a musician.
Workshops are just £45 including tea and cake!🍰 Music scores can be shared in advance on booking.
Cello Club workshops are at the brand new Barford Community Centre, which provides a welcoming environment, parking and excellent facilities.

Sara Lane Rees, Cello

Sara Lane Rees is the director of Sarabande and a professional cellist who achieved a Masters from the Royal Northern College of Music. With over 15 years of experience directing music ensembles, Sara also works with the Royal Shakespeare Company and local orchestras, has played at the Royal Albert Hall, performed with the CBSO, appeared on Top of the Pops and toured with bands including James.
Sara is an established cello teacher, tutoring all ages and abilities. Sara has extensive workshop experience, including the Oxford Cello School. Known for her vibrant energy and motivational skills, Sara brings a dynamic and caring presence, and is passionate about sharing the joy of music!
